What is Whiteboard?
Whiteboard is a shared visual canvas built into every Stylezone Style. It gives your team a single place to collect inspiration, arrange references, run AI generation, and iterate on ideas — all connected directly to the style you're working on, without switching tools.
Getting started
Whiteboard is available on every Style automatically — there's nothing to create or enable. Open any Style and click the Whiteboard tab to get started.
What you can do
On the canvas you can add images from your computer, drag in assets from the current Style, write prompts to generate new visuals with AI, connect elements with arrows to show relationships, and arrange everything freely on an infinite, scrollable grid. You can zoom in and out, pan across the board, and undo or redo up to your last 10 actions
Fullscreen Mode
This option will allow you to enter Fullscreen mode, giving you an uninterrupted view of your Whiteboard:
Horizontal Menu
The menu on the bottom of the whiteboard contains the following tools:
Lock Whiteboard:
This will lock the whiteboard in it's current state. Elements will be unmovable, and no additional changes will be able to be made until unlocked.
Undo/Redo:
These options will undo the last action, or redo the last action that was undone.
Zoom:
These options will decrease zoom, or increase zoom level. Selecting between these buttons (where zoom level is shown) will fit all content into view. This is a useful way to recenter your view if you pan too far from the elements on your whiteboard.
Vertical Menu:
Select (V)
Use this option to select any element on your whiteboard:
Pan (H)
Use this option to move around the whiteboard, without selecting any element:
Connecting elements
Use the arrow tool to draw connections between images and prompts. Arrows stay attached when elements are moved and are removed automatically if the connected element is deleted.
Arrows can be added to the whiteboard using this button:
Which will place an unconnected arrow on the whiteboard for you to manually connect with.
Alternatively, you can click any of the plus icons around an image and drag an arrow to another element:
Annotations:
Reduce external communication between your team by leaving an annotation directly in the Whiteboard, or leave a note for yourself at a later time. You can add an annotation here:
You will be able to adjust text size, formatting, alignment, color and even add a hyperlink:
Generating images with AI
Select one or more images on the canvas and click the + icon to open a prompt, or click the AI Ideation tool in the toolbar to start from text alone.
Write a prompt, choose how many images to generate (1–10), select your output ratio and resolution, and click Generate. Alternatively, choose to generate an animation of your garment through a variety of prompts. Results appear on the canvas as new image objects you can freely move, resize, and reuse. See the Generate with AI article for full details.
Adding images
Drag an image from your desktop directly onto the canvas, or use the toolbar to upload.
Supported formats are PNG, JPEG, WEBP, BMP, GIF, and SVG. The maximum file size is 10 MB and the maximum resolution is 6336 × 6336 px
Images uploaded larger than 500 × 500 px are automatically resized to fit neatly on the canvas while preserving their aspect ratio
Using Style assets/AI Avatars:
Click Add Assets in the toolbar to insert images from the current Style — including renders, snapshots, and cover images:
Drag individual assets or select multiple and add them all at once. Inserted images are independent copies; changes on the canvas do not affect the original Style assets.
You can also choose to add one of our six AI Avatars to your whiteboard, allowing you to visualize your garment on a model:
Right-click Options
When you right click an element on the Whiteboard, you will have the following options:
Duplicate: This will create a duplicate of the element you have right-clicked (can also be done with hotkey cmd/ctrl + D)
Cut: This will delete the current element, but also copy it to be pasted anywhere else in the Whiteboard (can also be done with hotkey cmd/ctrl + X)
Copy: This will copy the selected element to your clipboard, allow it to be pasted anywhere in the Whiteboard (can also be done with hotkey cmd/ctrl + C)
Delete: This will fully delete the item from the Whiteboard (can also be done with hotkey DEL)
Bring to Front: This will move the selected element to the front
Send to Back: This will move the selected element to the back
Selecting an Element:
With an element selected, you can download it, delete it, or add it to your style:
Once you select this option, you will be able to specify if you want to add it to all colorways, or only a select few.
Resizing Prompt Nodes
Using the handles on any corner of a prompt node, you can increase/decrease the size of the node to improve readability or improve overall layout on your whiteboard:
Collaboration
Multiple team members can work on the same Whiteboard at the same time. You can see who is currently on the board, where others are working, and changes appear in real time. Each user's undo/redo history is independent — you can only undo your own actions. If you lose your internet connection, a notification appears after 10 seconds; your work is restored automatically when you reconnect.
Permissions
Whiteboard inherits permissions from its Style. Moderators and Contributors can add, edit, move, and delete elements. By default, Reviewers can view the board but cannot edit. If your access to a Style is removed while you are in Whiteboard, you will be redirected to a "No permissions" page.
Admins can control Whiteboard access by user role, defining who can view (read-only) or edit content. Permissions can be configured separately for moderators, contributors, and reviewers, both internal and external. More information about managing permissions can be referenced here: Administering a Stylezone Site
Tips for getting the most out of Whiteboard
Start by adding reference images from your Style assets or from your device, then use AI generation to explore variations. Use arrows to connect ideas and show how a concept evolved. Collaborate with your team in real time to review and refine before committing to a direction in VStitcher.
Availability
Whiteboard is available to Enterprise or Teams tier, as well as for non-SSO users. While Generate with AI is not available to Freelancer , Freelancer+ or non-SSO users.
