Release Date: April 29th, 2026
In this minor release, we help you move faster from design to production with powerful new automation across VStitcher.
Simulate multiple sizes in a single click, eliminate manual prep work in printing, and cut stitching time dramatically with Auto Arrange and Stitch, all while producing cleaner, production-ready outputs from both Print to File and DXF exports.
This release is all about saving time, reducing repetitive work, and letting you focus on fit, quality, and creativity.
Accelerate your workflow by automatically simulating all sizes in a size run.
A new "Dress Multiple Sizes" option is now available in the Dress menu, allowing users to simulate and dress multiple sizes in a single action
Users can select which sizes to include via a size picker panel (all sizes are selected by default)
Simulation runs sequentially from the base size configuration
Previously a Labs feature, Auto Arrange and Stitch is now available to enterprise license holders with an active Stylezone site. Auto Stitch automates pattern piece arrangement and garment stitching in VStitcher, decreasing setup time by reducing manual, repetitive actions.
Instead of manually positioning pieces and defining seams one by one, Auto Stitch uses machine learning to predict the correct arrangement and stitching, giving you a strong starting point and dramatically reducing setup time
New Auto Stitch button added to the VStitcher main navigation
Before the feature can be used, ensure you follow our whitelisting checklist with the help of your IT team
Save time and avoid manual clean-up by excluding smart zippers from your exported pattern layouts.
Smart Zipper pattern pieces are now automatically excluded from Print Layout mode, no manual action required
DXF Enhancements - Phase 1
In this first phase of new DXF enhancements, users can export DXF patterns from VStitcher and
Pattern piece rotation values are now exported in ASTM DXF format. These values are automatically applied when the DXF is re-imported into VStitcher
A new "Hidden Pattern Pieces" checkbox in the Export DXF dialog controls whether pieces marked "Do Not Use" are included. The checkbox is unchecked by default (hidden pieces excluded)
DXF files remain fully backward compatible with importers that do not use the new fields
What's Fixed in VStitcher 2026.1.2
Fixed an issue where transparent fabric appeared incorrectly in the 3D window when using Unreal as your 3D Display Engine
